Same content, different delivery

It’s commonly known that tone and body language plays a much larger part in comunication than words. So true.
Arrived at a restaurant recently at 8.45 pm to be “welcomed” with the words ” you will have to hurry, you have only fifteen minutes to place your order”. The manner was curt, we felt as if we were imposing.
Contrast this with yesterday evening, similiar situation, only we were welcomed with a warm smile, and the words ” so glad that you could make it! The last order is in fifteen minutes and I know chef will be disappointed if he does’nt have the time to rustle up something delicious for you”.

Which restaurant would you go back to?

The message in both cases was the same- you have 15 minutes, you need to hurry, but the delivery made all the difference.
